The democratically elected governor of Texas, Jack Spencer, is in the middle of his re-election campaign when an emergency press conference has been called. Then he goes missing. His staff is left to prepare for an event that they don’t understand while simultaneously trying to track down the governor. What’s this press conference about? Where is the governor? Does anyone know what’s happening? A meditation on leadership and politics and how we can get caught up in political campaigns and forget what is the point of all these things…

Call for Submissions
The Waukegan Theatre Festival (WTF) has been around since the inception of Three Brothers Theatre over a decade ago. It has been produced in many shapes and forms over the years, however, it has always been committed to showcasing new plays. In 2025 we would like to expand that commitment by altering the format of the festival. In order to include other organizations and artists we would like to create a weekend of performances at various venues in the Downtown Waukegan area. The festival is set to take place August 1st - 3rd. We invite theatres, independent artists, organizations, and anyone with a theatrical or performance based project to submit to the 2025 WTF. We would prefer new and/or devised performances, however, we are open to all possible submissions
